Herds
The Stallion is the ultimate leader. You must obey him. (Even the Lead Mare)
There can only be one Lead Stallion and Lead Mare.
Stallions can breed any mares in their herd, but the lead mare will be considered their mate.
To claim a territory simply post saying you are claiming it.
Only one territory per Herd at a time.
Only one herd per stallion.
You can force a Mare to join your herd. (It happens in the wild, it can happen here.)
If a territory hasn't been posted in for 1 week by its Stallion, you can claim it.
There will be random territory active checks, please reply to these or I will make your territory claimable.
There is no limit to the number of horses in a Herd.
If there are no territories for claim, challenge for one in the Challenge Forum.
Challenge
You fight it out in Challenge Cove, then a staff member will calculate the results.
Challenge results are decided by the roll of a dice (King: 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 X Prince: 2 + 2 + 1 = 5, King wins) The higher the number the better.
You can get hurt, but if you want one character to kill another, please message a staff member so that they can use that in their calculations.
All challenges are between Chatacters only NOT their players, it is not personal.
You can challenge as many times a week as you want, but only challenge the same Stallion once a week.
If you win a challenge you get to keep whatever you won for one week or until someone else challenges you and wins.
Stallion's can challenge for mares, territories, or entire herds.
Mares can challenge for higher ranking positions in a Herd or for freedom if you have been forced into a herd.
Horses under 2 years of age cannot challenge.
Results are final, but you can challenge again after one weeks.
Breeding.
Horses have to be at least two years of age before they can breed.
Males are allowed to force-breed females, so long as they are in their herd. But, if a mare is in the meadow or some other place and is advertising being in heat, then the stallions can force breed her there too. (It happens in the Wild, it can happen here.)
If you wish to not be bred, go to the Lakeside shores till your heat is over. No stallions are allowed there.
There is no limit to how many mares a stallion can breed.
I reserve the right to add, change or remove any rules at any time.
